Doing a few more 1/2 marathons this year and continue to support new runners by running with them!

Personal:

Blessed to live in beautiful Fountain Hills, AZ during winter/spring months then in beautiful Idaho Falls, ID in the summer/fall months!  Thoroughly enjoy hiking, golfing, and running all year round (not into cold winter sports)! Married to Rob for 22 years ~ Two 19 year old college teens!

Awesome race today!  The course changed a little ending at Tempe Park Beach instead of the ASU Sun Devil stadium, so a few changes from last years route!  This year I decided to stop at each water stop in prayer for my pastor, pray for him and family members at each mile marker, and pray at each band spot for Brian.  It was so awesome to be in prayer instead of in "my time", I've never ran a race in this way before.  My race was truly a blessing to me in so many ways...  I ended up finishing better than I thought I would as I don't usually stop at all water stops and had to make a pit stop on mile two to pee (again)!  Last year I finished in 1:44:31 with maybe one or two water stops, so this year's 1:46:23 with all stops, pee stop + route change, I think I did pretty darn good :)
